Giving Back this Independence Day
This Fourth of July, Quick Transfers is proud to support two organizations that honor service, sacrifice, and community care: the Bremerton Sail Memorial and the Marietta Firefighter Support Fund. The Bremerton Sail Memorial is preserving the legacy of USS Bremerton SSN-698 and CA-130 through a permanent monument, while the Marietta Firefighter Support Fund helps firefighters, their families, and fellow first responders during meaningful and difficult moments.
Customers can add a donation of their choice at checkout, and Quick Transfers will match donations up to $100. Together, we can celebrate independence by giving back to the people and stories that protect and strengthen our communities.
The Marietta Firefighter Support Fund began in 2021 with firefighters coming together to support their own brothers and sisters. Now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the fund gives the community a direct way to help first responders and their families during times of hardship, transition, and major life moments. The organization has supported Marietta firefighters, their loved ones, and fellow first responders from surrounding departments. Donations help continue that care for the people who show up when their community needs them most.
The Bremerton Sail Memorial is dedicated to preserving the sail of USS Bremerton SSN-698 as a permanent monument at the gateway to the City of Bremerton. The project honors the long connection between Bremerton, the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, and the crews of both USS Bremerton SSN-698 and USS Bremerton CA-130. The memorial will recognize the submarine's 40 years of service, the cruiser's Korean War legacy, and the deep naval roots that continue to shape the community. Donations help support the construction of this lasting tribute.
